This collection of photography is an extension of the first 'Coastal Walks' series again depicting nature and its emotional impact.
This time there is less of a narrative. I'm more concerned by the vivid colours that are currently influencing my paintings.
The brutal winter months, dark and short days spirituality affect my creative process. This is my attempt to 'defy' the darkness that troubles my mood or depressive state. However, there is no shadow without light.
Mark J Pullin
"The sea is emotion incarnate. It loves, hates, and weeps. It defies all attempts to capture it with words and rejects all shackles. No matter what you say about it, there is always that which you can’t."–Christopher Paolini
