Marc Chagall was a Belorussian-born French artist whose work generally was based on emotional association rather than traditional pictorial fundamentals.
Marc Chagall was born in Belarus July 7, 1887 – March 28, 1985.
This animation by Andrej Melnikov, in what you could call a Saratov school style: reliefs made of oil painted plasticine used as paper cut animation. The procedure was originally developed at Sarotovtelefilm on the series pictures of old, and is still used by the members of its former animation team in various set-ups. This animation tells the story of Chagalls, life from birth, utilizing many of his own paintings.
Marc Chagall fue un pintor francés nacido en Bielorrusia, 7 de julio, 1887 – 28 de marzo, 1985. Su trabajo fue más bien basado en asociaciones emocionales.
Esta interesante animación hecha por Andrej Melnikov, en lo que se pudiera llamar del estilo de la escuela Saratov con relieves hechos de plastilina pintados al óleo usando recortes de papel. Este proceso fue originalmente desarrollado en Sarotovtelefilm en la serie de pinturas antiguas, y se sigue usando hasta ahora por los miembros del equipo de animación en diferentes sets.
Esta animación nos cuenta la historia de Chagall desde su nacimiento, utilizando varias de sus propias pinturas.
